Autosuggest: ItemActive doesn't always fireF

"There does seem to be a bug with itemActive not firing 100% of the time – to recreate:
- type a search term
- press down to highlight first suggestion (and populate search box)
- press up to go back to search box
- press down again – at this point itemActive doesn’t fire and the search box isn’t populated."
