Glow 1.6 -> 1.7 lost destroy / destroyOnComplete functionality

In trying to fix a bug on the iPhone, I profiled the news homepage with sIEve and discovered that some code that was added to fix a memory leak in the ticker had somehow been removed.

Have sent details to Frances.

The attached file can be used to test whether the fix works - excuse it's simplicity and apparent bad use of Glow, it was written like that to mimic how the ticker works.
