Redesign Panel & Overlay

Having to use IE's filter to load 32bit PNGs is a performance hit, a maintenance nightmare & difficult for other users to restyle.
If people want to use IE filters for special designs, they're welcome to, but it shouldn't be the default.
I'm all for using paletted PNGs with tRNS, as they degrade nicely in IE6, but we'd need a design that works with this.
